ACCOUNTABILITY - PRIMARY DUTIES
- Acts as project engineer for metering installations, including: nonstandard, complex industrial, commercial, generation, interconnection and cogeneration metering installations.
- Designs and develops for approval standard metering-installation methods and procedures.
- Provides engineering and technical expertise and counsel on electric metering equipment and systems to field forces, other departments, customers and management.
- Oversees and participates in the test and evaluation of new meters, metering systems and related equipment and provides recommendations.
- Develops purchase specifications for electric revenue meters, associated devices, test equipment and materials.

- Provides functional and/or on-site assistance, guidance and instruction in the analysis and resolution of incorrect and/or defective metering.
- Develops and conducts training programs associated with electric metering, including Time Merit Progression Programs (TMP) in coordination with the Training Department.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
12+ years of experience in design and development using Systems Development
Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies.
4+ years as Enterprise Architect.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of J2EE and related technologies including
EJB, JMS, and JDBC.
Experience on several full project life cycles.
Experience with a variety of architecture/design patterns and idioms.
Experience with developing performant/scalable/high-availability systems; specifically
performance/reliability issues - concurrency, deadlocks, race conditions, database
contention, transactions, error handling/recovery and self-correction, applying
profiling, memory analysis and thread dumps is highly desirable.

Systems Solution Analyst
Our client, a company creating sophisticated communication
products, is looking for a System Solution Analyst to continue their efforts
in developing and implementing complex data driven but hardware based software
products. This position is in Atlanta, GA.
Scope of Position
This position is responsible for providing Radio Frequency (RF) Network design
and validation for various process steps leading up to a contracted client
engagement and during the actual deployment. This includes New Product Design,
RFI, RFP, and Contract commitments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define network hardware requirements and performance capabilities in support
of specific client RFI, RFP, and Deployment Contract Awards.
Perform network design activities for the local area network (LAN), wide area
network (WAN) and data center (NOC) elements of the total solution. Includes
modeling activities necessary to estimate capacity requirements based on client
requirements.
Maintain, evaluate, analyze and utilize high performance databases associated
with client-provided and purchased data.
Support engineering field trials of hundreds of endpoints up to multi-million
point deployments and day-to-day support of System Solutions function.
Provide mapping, demographic and geographic data management services.
Work with large amounts of data utilizing various RF models and mapping applications.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer, with previous experience developing AMI for a newly developing project in the Southwest. Position is Based in Southern California.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in electrical metering and management of hybrid metering systems. As a key member involved in the management, regulation and distribution of energy the senior engineer will be responsible for undertaking the day to day management and implementation of AMI systems throughout the region.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience in selection, testing and analyzing metering systems that involve hybrid reading capabilities (drive-by, broadband, RFI) as well as the understanding of how to implement systems county wide. Candidates will have knowledge of relevant software (Infoworks, SynerGEE and MapInfo an advantage), good knowledge of the design and implementation of district metering schemes, knowledge of the calibration/verification of system models, energy control and customer billing systems.
Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Registration as a Electric Engineer a Plus to consideration. Must have direct experience managing metering systems for a county of atleast 100,000 users.
